Rina Tamaki and Yu Tamaki of Okinawa Eizo Center Co. will host a hands-on Paranku workshop at the Okinawan Festival. Participants will learn how to make a craft Paranku (hand drum) and have an opportunity to learn Eisa (a type of Okinawan dance using drums) from Sho Yoshida and Ryu Yoshida of Naha Daiko.

Each workshop will take approximately 50 minutes and is limited to 12 people per session.

About Naha Daiko
Sho Yoshida is the President of Naha Daiko, and Ryu Yoshida is a member of Naha Daiko.
Naha Daiko is a creative Eisa performance group with extensive experience performing both in Japan and abroad. While respecting tradition, the group creates contemporary dances and designs performances that are accessible and engaging for youth and first-time participants who may be unfamiliar with Eisa.
